One of the girls' favorite things to do is to go to the local airport in Murieta and watch the small planes take off and land. We didn't have anything to do Thursday morning so we headed to the coffee shop for treats and then parked ourselves at the airport. It was pretty quiet at first, but pretty soon we saw a small plane circling the landing strip. The girls were so excited to see the plane come into view and land. Simple things, but they enjoy those just the same and I love to see them get excited and discuss it later. It's funny to watch Kate retell the story because she gets very serious and says, "Airpane wand" (sounds like hand but a "w") and does the motion with her hand.
